Julio Iglesias Presented With One-Of-A-Kind Louis Moinet Geograph Rainforest Timepiece

During a soirée organized in Kuala Lumpur, famous watch collector Bernard Cheong presented Julio Iglesias with a one-of-a-kind version of the Geograph Rainforest. It was specially created for him by the Ateliers Louis Moinet. Participants enjoyed a performance by Iglesias, and Dr. Cheong took pleasure in helping to spread awareness of the exquisite timepiece dedicated to preserving the Malaysian tropical forest of Belum-Temengor, among the oldest in the world. Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill Criticized For Wearing $30,000 Breguet Watch

The picture above from 2009 has become the buzz of Russia due to the watch worn by Russian Orthodox Patriarch Kirill, who has been criticized for flashing an expensive watch. What kind of watch is it, exactly? The timepiece worn by the church leader is believed to be a Breguet that sells for more than $30,000. However, he told Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyev that he never wore such a watch, only “an inexpensive Russian-made watch.” A photo of Kirill popped up on the church Web site, but the watch had apparently been doctored out (see below). Richard Mille Sponsored Bubba Watson Wins Masters Wearing The RM038 Timepiece

Bubba Watson, the superstar golfer sponsored by Richard Mille, came out victorious in the 2012 Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia this past weekend. The suspenseful tournament ended with a a sudden death playoff on the 10th hole in with Watson coming out on top. During the tournament, Watson was seen wearing the white Richard Mille RM038 wristwatch, the timepiece which was specially named after him. The watch is an ultra light-weight magnesium-aluminum alloy case with a movement that insulates the tourbillon from shockwaves generated by Watson’s drive.
