For our first collaboration, it’s no surprise to find high-performance masters Mercedes-Benz AMG, teaming up with the offshore performance legends, Cigarette Racing. Both manufacturers are known for producing seriously fast machines, and the Marauder GT S, with its twin 1550hp V8s, can easily hit 135mph – that’s plenty quick for a boat.

As well as a number of AMG GT S styling cues, such as the diamond stitched seats and carbon fibre dashboard, the Marauder also features the AMG’s distinctive Solarbeam Yellow metallic paint, making it one of the most eye catching boats on the water.

For those who are more James Bond than James Hunt, the Quintessence Yachts AM37 is the quintessential powerboat for the discerning gent. Here, the Dutch boat builder has joined forces with Aston Martin to create a sophisticated day boat unlike any other on the water. A true team effort, Aston Martin supplied its top designers and craftsmen to help in the development of this 37-foot craft, infusing it with the motor manufacturer’s DNA from its curved windshield to the sports car treatment of its aft detailing.

From the helm, the carbon fibre dashboard, leather steering wheel and polished throttles remind you of its grand touring heritage, as do the twin V8 engines, which enable the AM37 to hit a top speed of 50-knots – plenty for a sophisticated cruiser.

It’s Merceds-Benz again, but this time with a completely different craft to the Cigarette AMG. Here, complete luxury comes before outright performance, as the 14-meter long Arrow460-Granturismo has been built to waft its guests across the waves with style and panache.

Dubbed ‘The Silver Arrow of the Seas’, the Arrrow460 is best described as a floating S-Class Coupe, with its large windows and sumptuous interior. Here, 10 people can relax in leather heaven, surrounded by fine grain eucalyptus, cocooned from the twin inline 6-cylinder turbo diesel located fitted under the aft deck.

Toyota’s president Akio Toyoda, was so impressed with the boats being produced by the company’s Marine Division that he decided to ‘see what Lexus could do’. The result is this, the Lexus Sport Yacht.

Although it looks like a computer rendering, this one-off concept is fully operational and was built by the Marquis-Carver Yacht Group in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, Lexus has no intention of putting the 885-horsepower Sport Yacht into production, instead, the Japanese motor manufacturer is using it to highlight the skill and dedication of its engineers.

Bugatti Niniette 66

The Niniette 66 is the Bugatti Chiron’s equally crazy floating brother. This 20-meter hyperyacht mixes the supercar’s designs with some real on board innovation. Bugatti turned to Palmer Johnson for the 66’s naval architecture, a shipyard best known for creating the world’s finest carbon fibre sports yachts.

The Niniette is similarly formed out of the lightweight composite material, and fitted with a pair of 1000bhp MAN V8 turbo diesels, she’ll hit a top speed of 44-knots with the throttles wide open. If you fancy a Niniette of your own, better be quick, as Bugatti will only be producing 66 examples of this incredible yacht.
