Valerio Rivellini’s new concept is the fascinating 56-meter-long Extended Explorer, a result of a combination of different ideas, providing all the reliability of military vehicles together with the comfort and innovative power of the most luxurious pleasure yachts. A naval engineer and yacht designer who has been at the helm of the homonym studio since 2009, the Extended Explorer is the ideal vessel for those who wish to cruise around the world in total comfort, stability and safety irrespective of weather and sea conditions.

The extraordinary inventiveness of Valerio Rivellini makes the Extended Explorer is a megayacht with modern luxury elements blended with military-derived features. One of the many innovative features is the extendable stern that can be expanded and opened to a larger space that serves as a sunbathing area, outdoor gym and relaxation area with chaise-lounges on the other side of the yacht. From this deck, guests can directly access the beach are and enjoy the waters. While an expandable deck isn’t entirely a new concept in the world of yachting, Extended Explorer does a phenomenal job. For the interiors, Rivellini proposed envisages a super-panoramic owner’s suite that occupies the entire Upper Deck from which the surrounding landscape and, without any visual interruption and a dedicated deck to enjoy open-air aperitifs. Inspired by the marine environment, Extended Explorer features nubuck leather fabrics in blue shades and white lacquer.
