Haute Time Watch of the Day: Franck Muller Giga Tourbillon

The Franck Muller Giga Tourbillon in pink gold is today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day, marking the 2012 WPHH Watch Exhibit taking place in Monaco.

This amazing timepiece features a 20mm tourbillon which measures almost half the size of the watch case. The 18 carat pink gold case, measures 43.70mm is the “Cintree Curvex” design, and is fully paved with 474 diamonds totaling 9.57 carats.

The Giga Tourbillon is powered by a FM 2100 caliber, manually wound mechanical Curvex movement, hand decorated and finished. The bridges and movement plate are also decorated with diamonds, 351 on the front side and 342 diamonds of the back of the plate. The stunning watch dial displays hours, minutes and power reserve and is fully set with 280 diamonds totaling 1.85 carats.  The watch strap is hand sewn, black crocodile.

The Franck Muller Giga Tourbillon is a true example of haute watchmaking and haute jewelry in one single creation.
