Haute Time Visits The Ulysse Nardin Aventura Boutique
Haute Time recently stopped into the Ulysse Nardin Boutique located in the Aventura Mall in Miami. There were so many interesting pieces available to enjoy, here is a sampling from the many amazing timepieces available.
Showcasing a few of the aquatic themed sports pieces, Ulysse Nardin’s reputation in haute horology shines through in these nautical pieces. The Black Sea Boutique edition, the Monaco Yacht Club Boutique Edition and the Maxi Diver Schooner Boutique Edition, shown with both ceramic and gold elements.
Next, we take a look at the more minimalist side of Ulysse Nardin, with the Freak Diavolo in 18ct white gold. This stunning timepiece is a revolutionary design for the brand, using silicium for its escapement wheels and paving the way for contemporary watchmaking. With an 8-day carrousel, Orbital flying tourbillon and a caliber UN-208, The Freak certainly stands out from the crowd!
Another beautiful timepiece available at Ulysse Nardin Aventura location is The Rose Gold Perpetual Calendar Limited Edition. Powered by a Manufacture Caliber 13 1/4 UN-32 perpetual calendar, self-winding movement, this high tech model features a dual-time function and is part of a limited edition release of 250 pieces. Photographed alongside of the Perpetual Calendar, is The Boutique Marine Chronometer. Part of a limited release of only 30 pieces, this boutique edition features a Caliber 11 1/2 UN-26 self winding movement, housed in a beautiful 18ct rose gold case.
From the Ulysse Nardin Exceptional collection comes the Stranger, a musical mechanical watch which is part of a limited edition collection of only 99 pieces. This special piece features a UN-690 self-winding movement. This piece plays the melody of Frank Sinatra’s “Strangers in the Night”!
Lastly, Haute Time chose to share the Boutique El Toro, in both Rose Gold and White Gold. A high-tech perpetual which features a dual-time function, El Toro is powered by an in-house developed and manufactured Caliber 13 1/4 UN-32, self-winding movement. With a 43mm case in either 18ct rose gold or white gold, with ceramic, this is certainly an impressive perpetual fitted on a blue rubber and ceramic strap.
