Carmelo Anthony’s Haute Time Watch of the Day: Speake-Marin Born Watch

Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is a very special timepiece designed specifically for the owner’s birth year and place they were born. The Born Watch is part of Speake-Marin’s collection of Fine Art Pieces.

The Born Watch is powered by a Calibre Eros, hand finished, automatic-winding mechanical movement with a 4 to 5 day power reserve. The stunning 42mm Piccadilly red rose gold case is fitted with a natural alligator leather strap featuring ecru stitching an a stainless steel tang buckle. The stand-out dial is also red gold, and hand engraved with an animal representing the birth year based on the Chinese calendar and birthplace of the owner.

At the center of the dial, heat-blue foundation styled hands mark the hours, minutes and seconds. Through the case-back, a diamond-set constellation of the stars seen in the night sky at the same place and in the year the owner was born.
