Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is a Limited Edition piece released in celebration of the upcoming 2016 Olympic Games taking place in Rio de Janiero, Brazil – The Omega Speedmaster Mark II Rio 2016.

As the Official Timekeeper for The Olympic Games, for the 27th time since 1932, Omega commemorates the 2016 games with this special timepiece, featuring a 42mm stainless steel case and bracelet. The Speedmaster Mark II Rio 2016 is powered by an Omega self-winding chronograph Calibre 3330 movement with a 52 hour power reserve. The black dial shows the chronograph counters and small seconds sub-dials surrounded by gold, silver and bronze, paying homage to the Olympic medals.

The Speedmaster Mark II Rio 2016 is water resistant to 100 meters and features a caseback stamped with the 2016 Rio Olympic Games logo, as part of a Limited Edition of 2,016 pieces individually numbered and released by Omega.
