It was out of this passion that, last year, Semilof and business partner Kamal Hotchandani launched luxury timepiece website Haute Time. The two curate the site, hand-selecting all content that goes live. Semilof highlights his favorite—and the most sought-after—watch brands through weekly five-question interviews with the CEOs and Presidents of these top-tier companies. Girard-Perregaux Names Michael Margolis President

Beginning March 1, Michael Margolis will be the new president of America for Sowind, which owns the luxury Swiss watch brand Girard-Perregaux as well as the watch company JeanRichard. Margolis will oversee the U.S. expansion strategy for Swiss watchmakers along with Sowind CEO, Michele Sofisti and managing director of Girard-Perregaux, Stefano Macaluso. Margolis began his sales career at Crest Reprographics before moving on to Nikon.
