On Monday January 16th, Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer will open its second US flagship boutique in the luxury wing of the Adventura Mall in Florida. The new 800 square-foot space will give watch enthusiists the ultimate shopping experience with accessibility to an extensive assortment of high-end TAG Heuer timepieces, exclusive & limited-edition styles, lifestyle accessories and avant-garde communication devices. The Aventura store will be the first Tag Heuer store to open in Florida – many Tag Heuer products are sold at jewelry and department stores throughout the state, but this will be the first store dedicated to the brand. Liquid Time: The New HYT Watch
The first timepiece to feature mechanical and liquid time indications will be unveiled at BaselWorld this spring by HYT- the Hydro Mechanical Horologists. With 65 hours of power reserve, the high tech watch movement boasts a liquid module thanks to two pistons moving the liquid in the tube. The actual piece is not yet created, but the vision of this timepiece has the watch world buzzing. Hublot CEO Steps Down
The CEO of Swiss luxury brand Hublot, Jean Claude Biver has announced he is stepping down from the position. Taking his place will be Ricardo Guadalupe, former Hublot managing director. Despite the chance, Biver isn’t entirely out of the picture.
