French Haute couture and luxury goods house Chanel has recently released the latest version of its flagship watch, the meticulously detailed J12 GMT Matte Black timepiece. Made almost entirely from black matte high-tech ceramic, the watch features self-winding mechanical movement and has a power reserve of 42 hours. New Hermès Watch Boutique Opens in Beijing

This year, French luxury house Hermès have opened a new boutique dedicated to haute horlogerie in China’s capital city Beijing. The exclusive timepiece shop, which opened this summer, is in the Fu Xin Meng Parkson Shopping Centre, which is located quite close to the financial heart of the city. Watch Collectors Gearing Up for Rare Timepieces Auction

Luxury watch collectors are gearing up for Heritage Auction’s upcoming auction of rare timepieces. According to JustLuxe, the New York Fine Timepieces auction which will take place on November 18th at the Fletcher-Sinclair Mansion, which today houses the Ukrainian Institute of America.
