Numarine sold the 121-footer 37XP expedition superyacht

The Turkish shipyard has added another feather to its fleet of successful XP explorer series. The latest of the series is a 121-foot superyacht, the new 37XP superyacht will be launched in summer 2021.

“We’re excited to offer our clients the fifth model of the proven XP Series” comments Omer Malaz, Founder and Chairman of Numarine. “If freedom and isolation have often been desirable, our current times have made them a necessity. Leaving the moorings, taking to the sea and welcoming the embrace of the elements today means entering a magical world without bans or borders, and limited solely by the imagination.”

Conceived and built according to parameters that have kept the Numarine brand at the forefront of innovation and technology, the new 37XP combines a refined, but easily recognizable aesthetic with an ambitiously conceived functionality to deliver another first-class experience.

“We wanted to offer a bigger model than the 32XP since some clients loved her volume,” explained Omer Malaz, “but they wished for a slightly bigger yacht as they already owned 30-32-meter yachts. So, it was definitely the demand of the market that pushed us towards the 37XP.”

Aligning with its predecessors, the new 37-meter superyacht also carries the same DNA with enormous angular windows and a strong and powerful look, which is recognizable from first sight. What definitely stands out is that the use of glass on the 37XP is even more impressive than on previous models. The explorer yacht a collaborative venture with the shipyard’s long-time partners – Umberto Tagliavini’s naval architecture and Can Yalman is in-charge of the exteriors. The interior decoration of the first 37XP is by Hot Lab. This is the second Numarine project with the Milan-based studio.

The 37XP is as efficient as it gets. The explorer yacht possesses the MAN D2868 L425 800bhp@2100 Engine and is capable of reaching 14 knots maximum speed. The superyacht has a transatlantic capability with RINA unrestricted navigation certificate and range of 6000 nm at 8 knots, which is on par with the world’s best expedition yachts in this class.

The 37XP has a spacious interior with several social areas. The main deck saloon and cabins benefit from large windows and are filled with abundant sunlight. The aft beach club features a bathing platform and an inside lounge literally sitting on the water level. Wide outside spaces are another major advantage of the new model. The wide-body flybridge is almost 10 m long and it turns into 80 sq. m space. The explorer yacht can host 12 guests in six expansive guest cabins on board, while the owner’s master suite is located on the main bow. There are four guest cabins and a nanny cabin on the lower deck.
