Chopard’s Stunning Imperiale Tourbillon Jewellery Watch for Women
Chopard, the Swiss based luxury watch leader had previously impressed their female clientele with a 201 jewelry watch, which is close to the most expensive watch in the world with a price tag of $25 million. The watch manufacturers have recently come up with an exclusive haute horology piece “Imperiale Tourbillon,” which combines their specialties; fine watch making and jewelry designing.
Using their expertise of setting jewelry and carving them into minute pieces, the watchmaker brings along a Poincon de Geneve trait hallmark, which is a standard for fine horological crafting techniques with the L.U.C 02-14-L movement, completely designed, created and crafted by hand.
Pricing and number of editions have not been disclosed. Set in a 18K white gold 42mm casing, the watch is highlighted by diamonds, which has been directed towards woman clientele. Baguette cut and briolette cut versions of the cherished stone are seen on the watches dial, sides, casing, crowns and the strapping, which has fabulous glittering versions of it on the part.
The prime difference is the set of amethysts surrounding the semi-exposed tourbillon movement, and the 1-miute counter at the 12 ‘o’clock hour. There is an artistic white gold rhodium plated hour and minute hands while inside the casing lies the watch’s hand wound tourbillon 02.14-L movement, which includes 33 jewel components.
This movement also has the advantage of a 4 barrel Quattro technology that was created in house.
With these designs and the new one at Baselworld 2012, this next stroke of creativity from the company will be highly awaited.
