Vertu Unveils Limited Edition Ferrari Ti
Luxury mobile phone makers Vertu have unveiled a new limited edition Ti Ferrari. The handset features specially curated Ferrari content as part of the partnership between the Hampshire, England-based manufacture and the Italian automakers.
According to Vertu, their team worked closely with Ferrari’s Design Director Flavio Manzoni to develop the Ti Ferrari, which takes its design cues from the F12berlinetta. For example, the handset features the same finely stitched leather that adorns a Ferrari’s cabin, the handset pillow features the distinctive Ferrari carbon weave using coloured AlutexTM composite, and the metal elements of the phone are protected by a Diamond Like Coating (DLC) similar to that used to protect the engine components of the F12berlinetta.
The phone also features a Ferrari app (unique to Vertu) which brings the user exclusive content from Ferrari’s magazine and social media channels, as well as a list of nearby Ferrari dealerships. The look is completed by a Ferrari inspired home-screen clock, four specially created ringtones, eight Ferrari wallpapers, and a Ferrari engraving in the handset.
Only 2013 of the limited edition Ti Ferrari phones will be produced.
