Vacheron Constantin Celebrates Beverly Hills Boutique
This month luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin celebrated the opening of their fourth US boutique. The Swiss manufacture teamed up with the prestigious Los Angeles County Museum of Art for a special event in honor of their new Rodeo Drive boutique, hosted by Juan-Carlos Torres, CEO of Vacheron Constantin, Michael Govan and Katherine Ross, director of LACMA, and Hugues de Pins, president of Vacheron Constantin North America.
Guests from the worlds of art and haute horlogerie gathered at the boutique on Rodeo Drive, including Rochelle Gores Fresston, Liz Goldwyn, Gregory Parkinson, Scott Sternberg, and Kendall Conrad. The evening kicked off with Beverly Hills Mayor John Mirish, who attended the ribbon cutting, while guests enjoyed an inaugural Champagne toast and hors d’oeuvres. Vacheron Constantin watchmakers gave a live demonstration of their craftsmanship, and a number of timepieces were on display throughout the boutique.
Later that night, 146 guests were chauffeured to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where Vacheron Constantin is a sponsor of the exhibition James Turrell: A Retrospective. Guests settled in at a 144-foot long, chandelier-lit table under the spring sky and were treated to a five-course dinner created by Chef Alain Passard of L’Arpege, Paris. As the sun set, singer Andra Day entertained guests.
Of the partnership between the LACMA and Vacheron Constantin, Torres told us; “At Vacheron Constantin, supporting the arts is more than a commitment, it is a duty. For both watchmaking and the arts, great accomplishment is a human story. We are delighted to begin our relationship with the Los Angeles community through our sponsorship of the upcoming exhibit James Turrell: A Retrospective at LACMA.”
The new Vacheron Constantin boutique is located at 365 North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA 90210. For more information call +310 598 2026 or visit the Vacheron Constantin website.Photos courtesy Vacheron Constantin.
