Ulysse Nardin, Crown Royal And Haute Time Celebrate John Wall’s Birthday In LA
Last night, Ulysse Nardin, Crown Royal and Haute Time hosted an intimate dinner in celebration of Washington Wizards star player John Wall’s recent feature story in Haute Time magazine. The event took place at Koi in LA where 35 of the area’s most prolific watch collectors gathered to enjoy an exclusive omakase sushi experience.
The event was the first in a week of celebrations for Wall’s birthday. Guests enjoyed delicious sushi dishes like Spicy Seared Albacore, Crispy Rice topped with Spicy Tuna and Peppercorn Filet Mignon Toban Yaki while sipping cocktails made from Crown Royal Deluxe Whisky and Zacapa Rum 23. During dinner, talk moved to a number of beautiful luxury watches provided by Westime. Representatives from Westime took time to educate guests on the many interesting pieces provided for the party. One of the many sophisticated watch collectors attending the event even wore a stunning Ulysse Nardin Royal Marine Blue Tourbillon, a holy grail piece from the brand.
After dinner, Wall was presented with a custom cake from Sweet Lady Jane in his favorite flavor, red velvet.
In Wall’s feature for Haute Time, the NBA star discussed a newfound interest in art inspired by friends and mentors like Jay-Z, Carmelo Anthony and Swizz Beatz. In honor of his latest passion, Haute Time commissioned a portrait of Wall by artist MadSteez.
What’s a birthday celebration without gifts? Wall received a bespoke suit from David August Clothiers, while Ulysse Nardin presented him with his own Barometer. Guests received exclusive Ulysse Nardin gift bags. The guest list included MadSteez, Jason of Beverly Hills, James Goldstein, Ray Vanderbilt, Genius Cole and three of Wall’s childhood friends.
Wall will continue his birthday celebrations this week in Los Angeles with a party co-hosted by Lil Wayne.
