Total Wow! With The New Graff Eclipse Tourbillon
The introduction of the Graffstar Slim Eclipse took the watch world by surprise when it was launched in 2015. Presented in a titanium black DLC case with more otherwise characteristic Graff features, “total black”, “total luxury” and “total understated sophistication” were the words most often used to describe the timepiece. Slim and lightweight and fabulously Graff, it was designed to accompany casual wear, a tuxedo, and anything in between. Since then, in a very short time, it has become a renowned reference within the Graff timepiece collections.
Graff Luxury Watches has not stopped there. In 2017, the brand presents an evolutionary Eclipse model with the introduction of the Graff Eclipse Tourbillon, for a “total wow”, shown above. Crafted in scratch- resistant titanium black DLC, the case measures 43 mm in diameter and only 8.20 mm deep, for a weight, including the movement, of just 45 grams. The timepiece is durable, exceptionally light, and easy to wear, as you can see in the photo below. Note how comfortably even the crown sits on the wrist.
All the details of the watch are black, from the Graff Icon at 12 o’clock, the hands and hour markers, the crown tipped with a black diamond, right up to the bridge and arms of the tourbillon that are treated with DLC. No-one can show this better to you than our very own Haute Time photographer Alex Teuscher, don’t you agree?
The Graff Eclipse Tourbillon is powered by a new automatic tourbillon movement featuring a peripheral rotor. The 4.31 mm slim movement, designed, developed and built in Switzerland, provides functions of hours and minutes. Water resistant to 30 meters, this timepiece is complemented with an alligator strap, black of course.
Priced at USD60,000 the Graff Eclipse Tourbillon will be available from July 2017.
