TAG Heuer Welcomes New Aquaracer Professional 200

At the LVMH Watch Week, TAG Heuer is expanding its collection with the exciting Aquaracer Professional 200. This is an important model for the brand, as TAG Heuer CEO Frédéric Arnault puts it; “The Aquaracer is every bit as much a TAG Heuer signature as Carrera or Monaco. Its codes and the philosophy behind it were defined decades ago and continue to be as relevant and exciting as ever, particularly in this season of new beginnings and new journeys. The Aquaracer Professional 200 is a companion for a fast-paced, unforgettable life full of adventure and achievement, a life lived beyond the edge.”

Already in 1978 did (TAG) Heuer puts its aim on outdoor enthusiasts with its Reference 844. The name Aquaracer was introduced in 2004, and a legacy was worn. Like its predecessors is also the new Aquaracer Professional 200, a very competent sports watch. It combines a robust design with a double safety clasp and a water resistance of 200 meters. Clear legibility is also an important aspect of the design of this watch, and it brings this with an avant-garde style.

The Aquaracer Professional 200 is launched in two different sizes, 40mm and 30mm, with either an automatic or a quartz movement. Different diamond settings are optional with the 30mm model, as well as mother-of-pearl dials. This gives a generous dash of elegance to this otherwise very sportive watch. On the 40mm model, the quartz models are distinct by their black or silver sunray brushed dials, while the automatic versions have a stunning black or blue dial with sunray finishing and a smoky effect. It gives the watches an undeniable character while perpetuating a legacy that is already over four decades in the making. It also further strengthens TAG Heuer’s offerings in the market’s ever so important sports watch segment.
