With the Excalibur Shooting Star, Roger Dubuis is one of the few that takes this approach and present a watch that impresses both in technical execution as well as feminine design.

With a diameter of 36mm is the Excalibur Shooting Star rather modest in size. This adds to its wearing comfort but doesn’t take away from its wrist presence, as the designers of Roger Dubuis carefully sculpted this creation. It has all the hallmarks of an Excalibur, from the hallmark bezel design to the three lugs that hold the strap. The watch is also awarded the Geneva Seal, which means that its finish is second to none. The movement is manual wind and offers a power reserve of 60-hours. While it is not equipped with a power reserve indicator, Roger Dubuis kept the mainspring barrel open. This allows you to see how far the spring is wound, and with some practice, you can fairly accurately determine how long it can still run.

All combined is the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Shooting Star a very precious creation. Not only because of the materials used, or the complexity of its movement, but more so of how it is all brought together; as a feminine creation that has no equal.
