Romain Jerome Scores At Harrods With Retro Video Game-Inspired Pop-Up
What sort of pieces are out there for the seasoned watch collector that loves retro video games? Romain Jerome answers that question with a new pop-up store in the legendary Harrods Fine Watch Room inspired by classic 80’s arcade games . Part of Romain Jerome’s Collaborations Collection, the game-inspired pieces pays tribute to several of the most recognizable names and characters from the halls of arcades and game rooms circa 1985. In each piece, the colorful, sprite-based worlds of Pac-Man, Tetris and Space Invaders are re-created in remarkable detail on the dial, with the pixelated art varying depending on the piece.
The Pop-up will run through September 23rd.
