While we’ve seen some incredible unveilings at the 2014 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, this one takes the cake. Richard Mille has unveiled the new RM 36-01 Sebastien Loeb, a stunning watch with an equally stunning $625,000 price tag.

The RM 36-01 upholds Richard Mille’s tradition of creating timepieces that can actually be worn in their ambassadors’ respective fields (from the RM 038 Yohan Blake wore at the Olympics to the RM 27-01 Rafael Nadal wore at the US Open). Created for the French rally driver Sébastien Loeb, this timepiece features G-sensor technology that will allow it to be worn in-race.

The sensor is located at the center of the dial, and can measure up to 6G. Housed in a carbon composite and titanium case, the dial also features hours (indicated by a red H hand) and minutes (indicated by a yellow M hand), as well as a tourbillon window at 6 o’clock and function display between 3 and 4 o’clock. The function is selected via the push-piece crown.
