Richard Mille and Bubba Watson Unveil RM 055 “White Legend” and “Dark Legend”

Richard Mille and PGA champion golfer Bubba Watson are collaborating once again for two limited edition versions of the RM 055, available exclusively in the Americas.

Like previous timepieces in the Bubba Watson line, including the RM 038 Tourbillon Bubba Watson, the RM 38-01 Tourbillon G-Sensor and the RM 055 Bubba Watson, the RM 055 “White Legend” and “Dark Legend” are crafted from extraordinarily light-weight and strong materials and boast an extreme degree of skeletonization.

The tonneau-shaped tripartite cases of the new limited editions feature NTPT Carbon top and bottom bezels, and casebands of blasted titanium. The White Legend  features a white inner bezel, hands and crown protector. The Dark Legend is jet black, while a red crown protector, logo and strap add a nice contrast. Inside the case of each RM 055 beats the caliber RMUL2, a manual-winding movement that is capable of withstanding accelerations of over 5000 Gs, allowing it to perform on the wrist of a professional caliber gofer with a quick, powerful swing.

Richard Mille will produce 90 editions of each version of the special edition watch.
