Omega Shows Its Dedication To Diving By Expanding The Seamaster Collection

While there are no global watch fairs this year, it is still traditionally the time for many brands to introduce their models. One of the brands that is no deviating from this is Omega, which delights us to a wide variety of new models, including many in the Seamaster collection. With this, they show their dedication to diving, a sport and profession in which the brand has built quite a reputation. The following new models most certainly do justice to this legacy:

A bold addition to the Seamaster Diver 300M collection is the so-called “Black Black.” This is a rather appropriate name as this watch shows the darkest side of the iconic diving watch. Omega created this look by working with high-tech materials, mainly ceramic. This makes the Seamaster Diver 300M a strong and robust watch, yet very light-weight and with a very high degree of wearing comfort. As Omega opted to color the hands black as well, and used anthracite Super-LumiNova on them and the hour markers, reading the time is not as easy as with its siblings from the same collection. This is also not the point, as the “Black Black,” is all about turning a great tool-watch into an amazing (fashion) statement.

Seamaster Aqua Terra
Talking about fashion, Omega also expanded their Seamaster Aqua Terra collection for ladies. These models dazzle with diamonds, while ruby hour markers bring even more elegance than ever before to the dial. While these watches impress with their looks, don’t underestimate their true capabilities. Not only are they water-resistant up to 15 bar/150 meters, they are also fitted with Omega’s caliber 8800. This movement is officially certified by METAS as Master Chronometer, and equipped with a Co-Axial escapement and silicon balance spring.

Seamaster 300
With the Seamaster 300 is Omega celebrating its rich past in diving watches. The most imposing one is, without a doubt, the exclusive Bronze Gold. This patent-pending alloy is a first for Omega in which they also add palladium and silver to the mix. The result is a rich, bronze/gold look that retains its natural beauty over a more extended period of time, can be worn directly on the skin, yet remains highly corrosive resistant. Less precious, but equally beautiful, are the two other new Seamaster 300 models. Both feature a stainless steel case, yet one features a blue dial and bezel, while they are with the other black. Combined with a brown calfskin strap, does it make the latter a very classical proposition. The blue one is fitted with a comfortable metal bracelet giving it a unique appearance of its own.
