Mr. Brainwash Turns Unique Hublot Into Art Piece
Luxury Swiss watch brand Hublot honored Paris-born street artist Mr. Brainwash on Friday, by unveiling an exclusive installation at the brand’s Bal Harbour Boutique. In celebration of Miami’s Contemporary Art Week, Hublot partnered with Mr. Brainwash to wrap the entire façade of the boutique as a bespoke piece of art.
Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot CEO, and Rick de la Croix, Hublot Bal Harbour Boutique Partner, invited guests to kick-off the brand’s celebration at the Bal Harbour Boutique, where Mr. Guadalupe, Mr. de la Croix and Mr. Brainwash, along with special guest Eva Longoria, unveiled the installation to the public for the first time.
The event culminated when Ricardo Guadalupe and Mr. Brainwash presented a unique Hublot watch turned piece of art to Eva Longoria to benefit the Eva Longoria Foundation. Ricardo Guadalupe shared, “Mr. Brainwash […] is one of the leading artists of his generation, helping to bring the alternative Street Art Movement to the masses. We are excited to continue our relationship with this great artist, and to honor him here today.”
Following the Bal Harbour event, Hublot continued the celebration by partnering with Haute Living magazine (parent to Haute Time) to host an intimate dinner on a private yacht followed by a party at the famed Casa de Suenos Estate in Miami Beach, the home of JR and Loren Ridinger.
Guests including Eva Longoria, Mr. Brainwash, Miley Cyrus, Russell Simmons, Swizz Beatz, Sammy Sosa and Patrick Schwarzenegger were invited for a night of luxury, art and music at the beautiful waterfront estate.
