MB&F Launches Stunning Legacy Machine FlyingT Malachite
In 2019 MB&F stunned the (watch) world with the launch of the Legacy Machine FlyingT. While we have gotten used to the exceptional collaborations of Maximilian Büsser and his team, the Legacy Machine FlyingT was taking ladies’ watches to new heights. In a highly original, three-dimensional creation, it is unlike any other watch and one of the very few timepieces for ladies that men also desire. Today they continue this story with the launch of the Legacy Machine FlyingT Malachite.
This watch makes the most of the natural beauty of the malachite, with its subtle different shades of green, divided into different lines. Underneath the highly domes sapphire crystal, not only the base is crafted from this material, but so is the 50 degrees vertically tilted dial. This gives owners a unique perspective on this appealing stone. For the case, MB&F opted for white gold, with a pave setting of brilliant-cut diamonds. A total of 120 decorate the case, while an additional 21 are set on the buckle, and 26 can be found on the crowns. They underscore the precious nature of the timepiece but also offer a welcome contrast with the malachite, which makes it stand out even more.
The movement in the Legacy Machine FlyingT Malachite is the same as with the previous models. This means that it is vertically stacked, with part of it sticking out of the center of the dial. It is topped off by a 1-minute tourbillon, crowned with a brilliant-cut diamond. The movement is powered by an oscillating weight, beautifully sculpted like the sun. This ensures that also the back of the watch looks stunning. The rest of the movement remains hidden in the charismatic case of the Legacy Machine FlyingT Malachite, which has a power reserve of 100-hours. With this new expansion, MB&F proves that they have yet to reach the limit of their creativity by offering another highlight in the world of ladies watches.
