To promote its new Tambour Horizon connected watch, Louis Vuitton is getting a little help from some of its very famous Friends of the Maison, including Justin Theroux, Sophie Turner, Urassaya Sperbund and Liu Hooran. In addition to the gorgeous images, the new campaign feature short films to reflect the idea of the inner and outer journey of the world and of self.
British actress Sophie Turner became wildly famous across the globe for her role in the smash hit television series called “Game of Thrones,” the eighth and final season of which will air this Spring. She plays Sansa Stark in the Golden Globe, SAG and Emmy-Award-winning series. She has also starred in numerous films, such as X-Men Apocalypse, playing Jean Grey, who she will bring back in the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
Justin Theroux is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer who became a household name after his role in David Lynch’s cult hit called “Mulholland Drive.” He also gained notoriety for his role in HBO’s dark, critically acclaimed series called “The Leftovers,” as well as multiple film roles in The Spy Who Dumped Me, On The Basis of Sex, Girl on the Train and Charlie’s Angels, among others. He also wrote Iron Man 2 and co-wrote Zoolander, Zoolander 2 and Tropic Thunder.
The campaign uses stunning imagery of landscapes of time, transformed with round shapes. A circular figure represents time passing as well as the shape of the Tambour Horizon, symbolizing the connectivity of all beings in life. Turner narrates the piece, which showcases all four protagonists at different stages in their lives.
