JeanRichard Helps Host the Steve Nash Foundation Showdown
This week the Steve Nash Foundation assembled some top players from the basketball and soccer worlds to compete in a charity soccer match benefitting the Foundation’s programs for underserved children. By increasing resources for families the Foundation hopes to give every child a chance to grow, in health, education, personal development and education.
Haute Time was at the Sara D. Roosevelt Field in New York City’s Lower East Side neighborhood to enjoy the match and see some of the NBA’s hottest players make the cross-over to soccer for this friendly and exciting match.
On Team Black, players included Simone Sandri (Showdown Co-Founder), Steve Nash (Showdown Co-Founder and LA Laker), Alessandro Noselli (NY Cosmos), Kyle Martino (Columbus Crew & L.A. Galaxy), Mason Plumlee (Brooklyn Nets), Jonathan Spector (Birmingham City), Richie Williams (U.S. Men’s National Under 17 Coach), Bobby Perez (Steve Nash Foundation Prizeo Winner), Enrico Zanus, and Giovanni Bartolli.
