Inside Haute Living’s Cover Party With Canelo Alvarez At Marion With Franck Muller
Tuesday night was anything but low-key as Haute Living took to Brickell hot spot Marion to celebrate its cover launch with star boxer, Saul Canelo Alvarez, with luxury watch brand Franck Muller.
The boxing champ known for his bespoke style sauntered into the decadent affair wearing a cheetah-print Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo ensemble, looking every bit the dapper champion that he is on his final night in the Magic City, followed by his entourage. Marion played the perfect host to the evening, greeting guests with Ace of Spades champagne as the star posed for photos among the crowd.
Notable attendees included fashion designer Fabrice Tardieu, developer Louis Birdman, Barry Skolnick and Missy Brody, Lisa and Dr. Lenny Hochstein, Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani, Franck Muller’s Lee Wiley, Karent Sierra and more.
Mexico’s golden body has achieved enormous success since his boxing debut at age 15. However, Canelo still remains humble and gracious for everything he has. In his exclusive cover story with Haute Living, he shared that his ultimate luxury is, “ability to desire something and be able to enjoy it. To be able to attain something you love and have it and experience it—that is a true luxury.” While he shares his success with his family and particularly his daughter, some of the indulgences he allows himself is a very impressive watch collection. Thus, Franck Muller brought in an stunning display of unique timepieces for the star to check out.
Throughout the evening, guests remained in high spirits, dancing to the hip beats of Marion and enjoying its French party vibes. Of course, the night was made complete by a gourmet dinner selection including Burrata Twenty-Five tomatoes, Octopus a la plancha, Crispy Spicy Tuna, Smoke Roast Branzino, Whole Organic Rotisserie Chicken, Grilled Spicy Beef Tenderloin and Miso Roasted Cauliflower for dinner, which was heightened by delicious sips of Armand de Brignac champagne and wines.
As guests took to the dance floor, the night was complete in typical Marion style as flaming dessert platters were brought out amidst blasting music, dancing and singing to send off the champion before he departs back home to Mexico City for the Formula One.
