Hublot Welcomes US Golfing Sensation Patrick Reed As Brand Ambassador
It doesn’t happen too often, but it happened at a VIP cocktail party at the prestigious The Woodlands Country Club in Houston, Texas. Patrick Reed was announced to be the brand ambassador for Hublot, and he was wearing a Big Bang UNICO Titanium. However, this was not gifted to him by the brand, but part of his private collection, which truly reflects his passion for Hublot.
Reed has enjoyed an incredible career, especially when you take into account that he is currently only 27-years old. He was the youngest winner of the WGC-Cadillac Championship in 2014, and only the fifth player to win three PGA Tour titles before his 24th birthday. But also his incredible contribution in the 2014 and 2016 Ryder Cups was impressive, especially when he defeated Europe’s leading player and world No. 4, Rory McIlroy, in an epic encounter at Hazeltine National, helping Team USA seal a famous victory.
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, shared: “It is an honor to add another world-famous professional golfer to our esteemed roster of brand ambassadors, all of whom are inspirations to both Hublot and our clients. Patrick’s astounding achievements through his perseverance and commitment to his celebrated career have made him a great fit for Hublot, and we look forward to this exciting partnership.”
Patrick Reed commented, “I am really proud to join the Hublot family and their team of golfers. Hublot is a brand I have long had an affinity for, and one I have proudly sported on my wrist for quite some time. I look forward to continuing my support for the brand in this new capacity.”
Patrick Reed joins the trailblazers of professional golf including number one in the world Dustin Johnson and Olympic Games gold medalist Justin Rose. The partnership with the golfing world is an obvious enterprise for Hublot when comparing the stamina, expertise, and precision of golf legends with the craftsmanship of Hublot’s timepieces.
