Hublot Opens New Monaco Boutique At Iconic Casino Building & Celebrates Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary
On the heels of its continued successes, luxury Swiss watch manufacturer Hublot has opened its latest boutique in Monaco. Choosing the most prestigious of locations—in the iconic Casino building at Place du Casino—this boutique replaces the former, which was located at 2 Avenue Princesse Alice. Not only is this a prestigious location, but it is also situated upon the route of the 77th Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc—a Scuderia Ferrari racer who is supported by Hublot in his talents—made an appearance for the store opening, alongside Global CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, who together, cut the ceremonious ribbon to mark the occasion.
The boutique itself is stunningly eye-catching, and quintessentially Hublot. High-end materials like mirror, glass, marble and metals are used, while the plush and inviting furnishings are generously arranged over 40 square meters of space. Marrying elements of luxury and modernism, the brand’s ‘Art of Fusion’ motto is certainly prominent in the design, as well as in its love of sport—switching from the Formula 1 to football, as Hublot is also the official timekeeper to the World Stars Monaco football match, taking place at State Louis II and attended by His Royal Highness Prince Albert II.
Additionally, to mark 90 years of the Grand Prix, first raced in 1929, Hublot created the Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th Anniversary. Reflecting the rich history of the automobile and of Hublot’s long-standing partnership with it, the brand created three editions of this special watch with the Scuderia Ferrari Design Center, each with a 45mm diameter, a power reserve of 72 hours and ceramic carbon bezel—the same material used in the brake discs from the Formula 1.
