Haute Time Watch of the Day: Blancpain L-Evolution One-Minute Flying Sapphire Carrousel

Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is part of the L-Evolution Collection by Blancpain. This eye catching One-Minute Flying Sapphire Carrousel movement timepiece offered by Blancpain is limited to only 15 pieces.

The satin-brushed white gold case measures 43.50mm with a sapphire case back. The amazing dial features lique-a-jour enamel decor on the lower plate, in electric blue, making a statement all its own. The upper plate decoration stemming from submicronic and micronic engraving technology creates depth on the L-Evolution dial. Also visible on the dial through a window at the 12 o’clock position is the carrousel mechanism. With the spiderweb like design detail on the watch dial as well as the caseback, Blancpain creates a truly modernistic design.

This L-Evolution model also features a 120 hour power reserve, a 22T caliber movement and is made up of 209 components and 25 jewels. Shown here on a black alligator strap lined with rubber, the L-Evolution One-Minute Flying Sapphire Carrousel blue enamel dial is available to only 15 fortunate collectors.
