Haute Time Visits Vacheron Constantin Boutique in New York
After our visit to Blancpain last week, we walked a few blocks down Madison Avenue to visit Vacheron Constantin. The Swiss manufacture’s New York Boutique is an incredible space, housing unique pieces and even a watchmaker’s workstation.
We saw some amazing watches, and we’ve brought you our exclusive photos from our visit:
The 1972 Prestige Limited Edition was unveiled for the opening of Vacheron Constantin’s Paris boutique.
Made of white gold with a silvered dial, this asymmetrical piece houses an ultra-thin mechanical movement. Limited to just 40 pieces worldwide, the 1972 Prestige Limited Edition retails for $40,000.
The Malte Lady in White Gold begins with a curved case set with pavé diamonds. The silvered sand-blasted dial features an 18K gold center paved with 142 round-cut diamonds.
A stitched-tip satin band with a buckle in the shape of a half Maltese cross, set with diamonds, completes the look. This piece retails for $33,600.
The Patrimony Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Chronograph in Platinum features a 43mm case and a silvered opaline dial with snailed counters and a painted black minute-track.
Complications include hours, minutes and small seconds at 9 o’clock, chronograph functions with a centre direct-drive seconds hand and a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock. Perpetual calendar functions include the days of the week, months and leap years, as well as the astronomical phases of the moon and a date hand at 6 o’clock. This piece retails for $151,200.
