Haute Time had the opportunity to sit down with Jean-Marc Pontroué, Global CEO of Roger Dubuis at SIHH. The Roger Dubuis booth was extraordinary with live eagles on site—certainly a spectacle that gained everyone’s attention. Actor Gerard Butler was also there, as well as the brand’s new amazing timepieces.

“It was time to get back to our core collection, which is Excalibur,” Pontroué said of the collection, which now also includes ladies watches. The brand presented its Excalibur collection including: The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Quatuor, Roger Dubuis Excalibur 42 Skeleton Tourbillon, Roger Dubuis Excalibur Table Ronde, and the Roger Dubuis Excalibur 42 Automatic.

Pontroué also touched on how it is having Roger Dubuis back at the company. “He is a very important person. Not only because he was the one who decided one day to create a company.” Pontroué went onto say that it is his idea to create incredible new designs in watch making, with very complex mechanics.
