Haute Jet of the Week: Embraer Legacy 500
The Embraer Legacy 500 was officially launched at EBACE in 2008, along with a smaller aircraft, the Legacy 450. It was built at Embraer’s manufacturing headquarters near Sao Paolo, Brazil. While the 500 was in Florida earlier this year, Embraer took the opportunity to conduct cold-weather testing at Eglin Air Force Base’s climate chamber, where the Legacy 500 passed all checks.
The interior is fully customizable interior color scheme, fabrics, and trim, and is the largest cabin volume in its class with four fully flat berthable positions, as well as the largest windows in its class and innovative modern accents.
