Girard-Perregaux Unveil Ultra-Feminine Cat’s Eye

The Cat’s Eye collection by luxury watchmakers Girard-Perregaux is one of the most recognizable timepieces in the ladies’ watch industry. And just like us women, it has never stopped refining its appearance. Girard-Perregaux recently unveiled the newest Cat’s Eye, a stunning model which is both elegant and utterly feminine.

The Cat’s Eye timepiece begins with a 37.95 x 32.95mm-diameter oval-shaped steel case set with 56 diamonds (approximately 1.08 carats). The horns stretch around the diameter, while the bezel changes shape, ensuring that its diamonds catch the light. The elegant dial, sparkling in either champagne or silver, is encased in a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The 12 o’clock numeral is accompanied by applied, elongated teardrop markers, while the date appears in a window at the 3 o’clock.

Behind the delicate appearance of the Cat’s Eye is an elegant mechanism; an automatic Girard-Perregaux GP03300-0070 movement with an oscillating weight. Embellished with a tapestry of the GP initials, it swings proudly above a plate and bridges that are decorated with the traditional Côtes de Genève finish. The 11 ó ’’’ calibre movement, working at 28,800 vibrations/hr (4 Hz), can be glimpsed through the watch’s sapphire crystal case back. Lastly, the 46-hour power reserve is indicated in a constellation of stars on the dial. A beautiful strap in either white or beige calfskin, with a steel folding buckle, adds the final touch to this incredible timepiece.
