Face of Jaeger-LeCoultre Diane Kruger Honors Quentin Tarantino at Museum of Modern Art Film Event
Actress and renowned beauty Diane Kruger, who is the face of haute horlogerie house Jaeger-LeCoultre, attended the fifth annual Film Benefit of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Monday, Dec 3, to honor iconic Academy Award-winning writer and director Quentin Tarantino.
Kruger, co-chair of the benefit event and featured actress in movies such as Troy and Inglourious Basterds spoke on the stage to introduce Tarantino, the director of the famous films “Pulp Fiction”, “Kill Bill”, and “Reservoir Dogs”.
Noted guests and actors included Katie Holmes, John Slattery, Jamie Foxx, Chelsea Clinton, Harvey Keitel, Dean Winters, Marc Mezvinsky, Nichole Galicia and Steve Buscemi.
The Museum of Modern Art’s Annual Film Benefit is an event to raise funds to acquire the great works of cinema and film for the museum’s collection. Over $1.1 million dollars were raised at this year’s benefit. Past benefit honourees include Baz Luhrmann, Tim Burton, Kathryn Bigelow, and Spanish film-maker Pedro Almodóvar.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is known to have long-established relations with the world of cinema and respects the great film artistry. The luxury watch maker has been a partner of the Venice International Film Festival for eight consecutive years and is also a partner for the Shanghai and Abu Dhabi international Film Festivals.
