Cortina Watch And Piaget Celebrate Launch Of New Piaget Altiplano Gold Bracelet in Singapore
“We are very proud of launching the Altiplano Gold Bracelet for the first time in South East Asia, with Jeremy Lim of Cortina Watch and his team,” spoke Eduardo Tartalo, Managing Director of Piaget South-east Asia and Australia, at the event which took place on July 9.
The Pelican Seafood Bar & Grill was the venue of the joint launch of the new Altiplano Gold bracelet collection by Piaget together with its long-time partner Cortina Watch in Singapore. Guests enjoyed drinks and seafood, in an exclusive setting against a backdrop of Singapore’s iconic skyline, including The Marina Bay Sands.
It is the first time in its history that Piaget created its ultra-thin masterpiece with a gold bracelet. Ensuring precise ergonomics, the Piaget bracelets are carefully designed to hug the curve of the wrist for maximum comfort. The famous Piaget Altiplano ultra-thin watch collection was initially launched in 1998, but it was already in the 1950’s that Piaget started to create ultra-thin movements.
The latest version for men and women, comes in 18-carat yellow, pink or white gold with two dial sizes (34mm and 38mm), and the bezel is either polished or set with diamonds. The mechanical self-winding Caliber 534P movement drives the hours and minutes indications. The in-house movement comes with a power reserve of approximately 42 hours and is made of 192 parts.
To the delight of the guests, Singapore jazz talent Dawn Ho mesmerized Piaget collectors and connoisseurs in her soulful vocals, while they viewed and tried-on the new ultra-thin timepieces. It was an elegant evening of enjoyment and admiration for Piaget’s rich history of watchmaking. Cortina Watch and Piaget jointly sure know what it takes to throw a party for its VIP clients.
