This year at the Cannes Film Festival, Chopard awarded the Trophée Chopard to Adèle Exarchopoulos, star of Blue is the Warmest Colour, and Logan Lerman from Noah. Oscar-winning actress Cate Blanchett, patroness of the 2014 edition, presented the award, which is intended to encourage new talents in cinema by naming the Best Young Actor and Best Young Actress of the year. After the awards ceremony, the manufacture celebrated these up-and-coming talents with a party on the Chopard Rooftop at the Hôtel Martinez. Guests including Penelope Cruz, Sofia Coppola, Jane Fonda, Pedro Almodovar, Atom Egoyan, and Zhang Ziyi joined Caroline Scheufele, co-president of Chopard, at the party. The evening was capped off with a performance by Bastian Baker.
