Chopard First Watchmaker in History to Receive Triple Swiss Certification
It is commonly known in the world of luxury that the world’s best watches are produced in Switzerland. The country’s exacting standards for quality timepieces have been transformed into a highly respected credentials program; any company wishing to produce their watches in this exclusive region will have their product evaluated according to a number of criteria. Chopard, a name synonymous with luxury goods of the highest quality, has made history as the first watchmaker to receive the highest possible accolade from Swiss regulators. The brand’s L.U.C Triple Certification Tourbillon is the first watch ever produced to receive all three of the most prestigious Swiss watchmaking certifications: the COSC, the Poinçon de Genève and the Fleurier Quality Foundation label.
That this honor has been awarded to Chopard for a tourbillon watch, containing the most sensitive of all mechanical designs in wear and reliability tests, is particularly notable. Each of the three certifications the L.U.C Triple Certification Tourbillon has received assures its impeccable credentials. The Fleurier Quality Foundation label, for example, is the only certification which vouches simultaneously for a timepiece’s accuracy, durability and quality finishing. The tourbillon movement is certified by the famous Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark.
The L.U.C Triple Certification Tourbillon bears a classic design, the 29.7mm diameter casing made of 18-carat rose gold, finished with a silver-grained dial. The exclusive L.U.C Quattro Technology (comprising two sets of two stacked barrels) affords this watch a 216 hour power-reserve. The hand-sewn alligator strap is the finishing touch to this incredible limited edition timepiece, only 100 of which will be produced.
Truly the L.U.C Triple Certification Tourbillon from Chopard will be the benchmark against which all luxury watchmakers measure their future offerings.
