Cartier Tank MC: Skeleton Palladium Close Up

Today we’re taking a close up look at the Tank MC Skeleton Watch in Palladium, from Cartier’s 2013 Collection. The Tank is iconic in the world of haute horlogerie; created by Louis Cartier in 1917, this timepiece was inspired by the Renault tanks which Cartier saw on the Western Front during World War I.
The Cartier TANK MC Skeleton Watch in Palladium is just as timeless, with an ultra-masculine twist courtesy of its almost square-shaped dial and skeleton design. While the classic Tank look is preserved with the Roman numerals, being able to see the moving parts of the self-winding Calibre 9611 MC gives it a modern edge. The 43.90 mm x 39.10 mm palladium case features a sapphire crown. An alligator skin strap with an adjustable double folding buckle in rhodium-plated 18-carat white gold completes the look.
