This unique timepiece is part of Van Cleef & Arpels Poetry of Time Collection, each of the timepieces in the collection tells a story. The Lady Arpels Une journée à Monaco, shows a spectacular scene, the turquoise dial, with white gold, lapis lazuli and mother of pearl create the blue and white sky of the French Riviera, along with a view of Monaco from the Prince’s Palace, complete with palm trees and the port of Fontvieille.

As the hours pass, and the disc turns and the magical scene comes to life, showing waves in the Mediterranean, the sun and moonlight and the silhouettes of a mother and daughter enjoying a walk through Monaco.
