Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Boutique Edition by IWC.  One of three new models added to the collection inspired by the U.S Navy training school “Top Gun”.

The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Boutique Edition features a 46 mm ceramic (zirconium oxide) case with titanium back and crown.  The dial, resembling a jet cockpit instrument display, has red hands and indices and glows in various colors at night.

Powered by one of IWC’s largest automatic movements, the 51614 calibre, featuring a Pellaton winding system and a 7-day power reserve, this timepiece is a great addition to the collection.  The impressive perpetual calendar compensates for all leap years on the calendar until 2100, keeping accurate count.  On the dial, day, date are displayed along with the four digit year and a moon phase display shows the stage of the moon in both the northern and southern hemispheres.
