Carmelo Anthony’s Haute Time Watch of the Day: Ulysse Nardin Jazz Minute Repeater

Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is a very special limited edition timepiece which pays tribute to a genre of music which became so popular during the 1900’s and today still represents an important era in music – Jazz.

The Jazz Minute Repeater, just unveiled by Ulysse Nardin, features the watch making tradition of watch making with the very special art of hang-engraving art and Jaquemarts – which are the animated figures we see on the dial, each moving in sync with the activated minute repeater.

The Jazz Minute Repeater features a Caliber UN-74 manual winding movement with approximately a 36 hour power reserve. The 42mm platinum case is complimented by a sapphire crystal and case back and is water resistant to 30 meters. The black onyx dial features the animated figures of jazz musicians, each hand engraved in 18k gold. The functions of this timepiece include the Jaquemarts Minute Repeater, chiming hours, quarters and minutes.

Fitted with a black leather strap with a folding buckle, The Jazz Minute Repeater is part of a Limited Edition Collection of 18 pieces created by Ulysse Nardin.
