Carmelo Anthony’s Haute Time Watch of the Day: MB&F Legacy Machine Nº1

Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is The Legacy Machine Nº1 by Max Busser & Friends. One of the extreme and outrageous futuristic timepieces to come from MB&F, The LM1 is reminiscent of the inventions we’ve seen from traditional watchmaking over the years with a futuristic and original three-dimensional flare.

The engine that powers The LM1 is a MB&F three-dimensional, manual winding movement developed exclusively for MB&F by Chronode and created by Jean-Francois Mojon and Kari Voutilainen. The case of LM1 is 18k red-gold, and also available in an 18k white gold option, measuring 44mm, and created from 65 individual components. Functions of The LM1 include hours and minutes, completely independent dual time zones shown on two separate dials, and a power reserve indicator. The crown at 8 o’clock sets the time for the left dial and the crown at 4 o’clock sets the time on the right dial and winds the engine.

A high domed sapphire crystal protects the dial and creates futuristic design element. The MB&F Legacy Machine Nº1 is fitted with a brown hand stitched alligator strap with a matching gold tang buckle.
