Parties and receptions have become as much a part of Haute Couture / Haute Jewellery week in Paris as the collections themselves, and the July 2016 edition was no exception. Here are three that still shine on:

Embassy._

Elegantissimo! What better place for Bulgari to host its reception than at the ultra-chic Italian Embassy in the heart of the equally chic 7th district of Paris?

Models._

No-one knows how to give a party like Chopard, except perhaps Chopard and Ralph & Russo, the only British fashion house allowed to show on the official schedule of Paris Haute Couture Week.

Together they took over the “Georges” restaurant at the Georges Pompidou Art Centre aka “Beaubourg” in the trendy 4th district just after the fashion show, in a joint celebration of haute joaillerie and haute couture. Overlooking Paris from the top floor restaurant and café, Ralph & Russo Creative Director Tamara Ralph and CEO Michael Russo welcomed guests alongside Chopard Artistic Director and Co-President Caroline Scheufele.

Chopard did not present any novelties during the Week, having created no fewer than 69 knock-out high jewellery pieces for the 2016 Red Carpet Collection introduced during the Cannes Film Festival in May. Not to matter, Lil’ Kim, who provided the entertainment, scintillated enough for everyone with her Chopard diamond necklace!
