Seth Semilof, Publisher of Haute Living magazine, has been a devoted watch enthusiast since he can remember. It was out of this passion that, last year, Semilof and business partner Kamal Hotchandani launched luxury timepiece website Haute Time. The two curate the site, hand-selecting all content that goes live. Semilof highlights his favorite—and the most sought-after—watch brands through weekly five-question interviews with the CEOs and Presidents of these top-tier companies. Finally, he curates the site on a daily basis, including three or more updates on newsworthy topics every day.

Usain Bolt Celebrates With Top Brass at Hublot

With all of the honors he has amassed, it’s hard to believe that Usain Bolt only turned 26 yesterday. To mark the day, the Hublot brand ambassador enjoyed a helicopter sightseeing tour of the Alps before being ushered to a private landing pad at the residence of company chairman Jean-Claude Biver. At the fête which ensued, Bolt was photographed carbo-loading with a gourmet birthday cake from renowned Swiss chef Benoit Viollier as well showing off his three gold medals from London. Haute Time’s watch of the day, Breguet Marine Tourbillon Ref. 5839.  It is a recreation from the Breguet Marine Tourbillon Ref. 5837 but only with encrusted diamonds in it.  The watch is 43mm wide, built with 18k white gold case, and has around 11.77 carats of stones.  The Breguet caliber 554.4 manually-wounded movements and 50 hours of power reserve with special feature that include a silicium balance spring and escapement wheel makes this watch beautiful, but also a very powerful piece.
