If there is one thing Hermès never seem to have a shortage of, it is creativity. Especially with their legendary Arceau watch, designed in 1978 by Henri d’Origny, they continue to dazzle with the most imaginative creations in Technicolor. This is also the case with the latest edition, the Arceau Toucan de Paradis. This exotic bird is known primarily because of its sizeable colorful beak. In 2020 the young British artist Katie Scott reimagined this unique animal for a silk Hermès scarf. In her signature style, she combined realism with bold colors. The result was not only imaginative but also very captivating, and it has the same effect on the dial of the Arceau. READ MORE

Watch of the Week: Rolex Sky-Dweller

As the world is slowly opening up again, traveling is once again the norm. Rolex has always been a loyal travel companion, combining robustness and water-resistant with style and elegance. In 1954 they added to that the convenience of displaying a second time zone with the introduction of the GMT-Master. This model, and its successors, has become the go-to watch of many globetrotters since but was in 2012 joined by the Sky-Dweller. While it can also show the time in different parts of the world simultaneously, this timepiece is another animal altogether. Its design is more reminiscent of the Datejust, with its distinct bezel, making it less of a tool-watch in comparison to the sportier-styled GMT-Masters. READ MORE

While they had little involvement in becoming part of it, other than making an excellent chronograph that was the only one that passed all the NASA testing, they became a valuable partner to the space agency soon after. Omega wasn’t sitting by the sideline, just supplying its watches to astronauts, but further developed its timepieces particularly to meet new demands as the space program evolved. The Precious History Of The New Reverso One Cordonnet Duetto Jewellery

Within the rich heritage of Jaeger-LeCoultre, the Reverso holds a unique place. Born in 1931, it was a purposely build sports watch with an elegant side. Its unique swiveling case could protect the then still fragile glass covering the dial from impact during a polo game. While initially a men’s watch, ladies adopted the style not too long after. As this was the height of the Art Deco period, watches were worn in very elegant ways, and one of the most stunning was where the case of the watch was attached to the wrist by a silk rope. Jaeger-LeCoultre brought back that style, yet now in a most precious version. It replaced the silk rope for gold and set it entirely with diamonds, highlighting a precious part of their heritage.
