Arthur's favorite timepieces include vintage racing watches, mid-century dress watches, and modern independent brands. Pretty much all watches in fact! If he isn¹t talking about watches, Arthur's probably eating in one of his favorite London restaurants, or venting about one of his sports teams. Arthur was born in Paris, France, and currently lives in Notting Hill, London. He holds a Masters degree in journalism from Northwestern University's Graduate School of Journalism.

Zenith Pilot Type 20 Grand Feu in engraved white gold One of the largest, and most unusual timepieces of the year, the new Pilot Type 20 features a richly hand-engraved bezel and lugs in 18k white gold. This 60mm wide watch is the latest update of the Zenith Pilot Montre d’Aéronef Type 20, and introduces a novel sapphire crystal ring, which allows the user to see the movement inside.

Rose gold watches, which began when watchmakers started mixing pure gold with copper, have dominated releases in the past decade. But all signs are pointing to the end of the rose gold trend, with the return of the classical yellow gold, and the introduction of the more restrained white gold alloy, one of the big stories at this year’s fairs.
