Grand Seiko Dazzles With Diamonds To Mark Its Anniversary

In recent years has Grand Seiko put more of an emphasis on precious metal-cased watches. With them, the brand has made quite an impact, and it is now expanding it by also putting its gem-set watches more in the spotlight. The Spring Drive 8 Days Jewelry Watch from their Masterpiece collection is a great example of the unique style that Grand Seiko utilizes in creating these watches. In a 43mm platinum case, diamonds and blue sapphires unite in a magical way form with function.

Grand Seiko finds a lot of inspiration in the natural beauty of Japan, as was also the case with this watch. The cold and clear winter mornings, as the sun rises and bathes the snow-covered Shinshu region in light, are represented in this timepiece. Not only by the baguette- and brilliant-cut diamonds and blue sapphires, which serve as the hour and minute indicators but also by the inner part of the dial.
