Haute Living’s Private Hublot Loves Art Dinner Celebrating Ricky Martin At The PAMM For Art Basel Miami
For their annual “Hublot Loves Art” event for Art Basel Miami, Haute Living took over the world-renowned Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) for an extravagant, invite-only dinner party on its third floor, the Joy Terrace. The exclusive event also celebrated Haute Living cover star Ricky Martin, who attended with his partner, Jwan Yosef.
In addition to the guest of honor, several Hublot collectors and notable attendees showed up to the highly coveted soirée, including Chairman and CEO of Related Group Jorge Pérez (after whom the museum is named) and his wife, Darlene; CEO of Hublot, Ricardo Guadalupe; famed French sculptor Richard Orlinski; Rick and Martha De La Croix; Black Jaguar White Tiger‘s Eduardo Serio; Hublot ambassador Martin Fuentes; Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani and his business partner, COO Seth Semilof; Jetsmarter CEO Sergey Petrossov and his wife, Lolita; PAMM director Franklin Sirmans; managing director of Hublot America Jean-Francois Sberro; former Mayor of Miami Beach Philip Levine; Gonzalo and Isabel Morales; and many more.
The guests were stunned by the dazzling, wraparound views of downtown Miami and the gorgeously appointed outdoor space. The lounge area, lined with backlit vitrines of impressive Hublot timepieces, housed an onsite, custom cigar roller, as well as mixologists preparing the specialty cocktails of the evening: the Grapefruit Smash and the Eastern Standard, both made with Belvedere vodka, and the La Valoma and the Cristalino on the Rocks, both made with Volcan tequila.
The Champagne bar, serving vintage 2009 Dom Pérignon, was located in the main dining room, which was elegantly decorated with bountiful white flowers, mirrored tables, dimmed, colored lighting and custom Richard Orlinski sculptures. Guests later enjoyed a decadent meal of baby arugula salad with candied pecans and shaved Parmesan, trumpet mushroom-crusted sirloin steak, miso-glazed sea bass with coconut rice and coconut flan with pineapple.
At the outset of the meal, Kamal Hotchandani thanked Ricky Martin for his tireless charitable efforts in his hurricane-stricken homeland of Puerto Rico and introduced Ricardo Guadalupe to the crowd. Guadalupe then took the stage to debut Hublot’s latest luxury timepiece, the Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski, sculpted by Orlinski himself, who then spoke about the special watch and his partnership with the brand.
As the rest of the night ensued, guests moved to DJ Arkitekt‘s beats and enjoyed a special performance by the talented violinist, Ezinma, who made her way around the room as she performed, much to the crowd’s delight. Following the meal, select VIP guests enjoyed a private tour of the museum and then made their way to the privately-owned, super yacht Bliss for the after party, docked at the PAMM marina. As the drinks flowed and the music continued, guests basked in the incredible waterfront setting well into the evening, on one of the most beautiful and memorable Miami nights of the season.
