Haute Living Honors Woman of Substance Michelle Rubell With Parmigiani Fleurier
Haute Living , sister publication of Haute Time, hosted a chic ladies luncheon with luxury watch brand Parmigiani Fleurier in honor of its Woman of Substance, Michelle Rubell. The affair was hosted at the beautiful Rubell Family Collection in Wynwood, and gathered some of Rubell’s closest ladies in her life. The guests also got a first look at some of the newest installed artwork in the gallery, which will officially debut during Miami Art Basel 2017.
Although the occasion was created to honor Michelle Rubell, the ever-so-humble power woman thanked each and every one of the ladies who came to the luncheon to support her for being her own women of substance. “I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for all of you wonderful women in this room,” Rubell stated as she welcomed her guests to the beautiful sit-down lunch.
The gourmet luncheon was catered by Faire La Fête and included a fresh Ménage à Trois—tuna trio—to start, a “Supreme De Volaille” with celery root gratin dauphinois and glazed heirloom rainbow carrots for the main, followed by Poached Pears in a hazelnut tuile and goat cheese biscuit for dessert. The feast paired delectably with sips of Bertaud Belieu rosé. In the background, the Grammy Award-winning Marlow Rosado Trio played live beats for guests to enjoy.
Outside in the cocktail area, Parmigiani featured a stunning display of bespoke timepieces, and debuted for the first time ever in the U.S. their newest Tonda Métropolitaine Galaxy timepiece, which caught the eyes of all the luncheon attendees as the inside face of the watch glimmered in the light.
Michelle was joined by her closest friends and family including Kathy Simkins, Barbara Kaufman, Nikki Simkins, Gisela Lowenstein, Flavia Lowenstein, Arlene Chaplin, Kinga Lampert, Carole Seikely, Tracy Mourning, Ivana Berendika, and more, along with Parmigiani’s General Manager for Parmigiani Fleurier Americas Ruggero Mango, for a memorable afternoon of art and luxury.
